How does the service work?

Who is my contract between?

How do I make sure the contractors are professionals?

As part of the requirements for our service we require that the landscaping contractors have valid commercial liability insurance, participate in WSIB for their employees and provide written warranty on their service. Each contractor has indicated they have met these requirements but it is up to you to validate each of these to your satisfaction. We do not guarantee these.

Can I get a list of contractors that will be contacting me?

Unfortunately no. We hold this information so that if a particular contractor is too busy to contact you regarding your request their reputation is protected. Contractors interested in your project will contact you in a timely manner.

Do I have to get an estimate from each contractor?

No. Ottawalandscpaing.ca provides your project details to a number of professional contractors. Depending on the volume of business that each contractor has you may get a varying response. We are unable to control the number of call backs you get but you may decide how many estimates and how to screen who will provide you with an estimate.
